Head of Financial Reporting
Heimstaden is continuing to execute on the extensive expansion and growth ambitions, hence we are looking for a proactive and knowledgeable Head of Financial Reporting. The role is newly established and will be central in the development of the group reporting function. You will be a strong contributor for setting the future agenda and to ensure efficiency and quality in financial reporting. As Head of Financial Reporting, you will lead a team of seven highly competent and engaged professionals.
Key responsibilities
- lead financial reporting and group accounting functions
- lead and develop the group reporting unit and act as support function for subsidiaries
- own the overall financial reporting process for the group, including consolidation, quality assurance and preparation of quarterly reports
- own and maintain the group’s accounting manual
- assess and document complex accounting matters
- responsible for further development of processes and internal control within financial reporting
- responsible for the consolidation system and preparation of the annual accounts for the group
- main contact towards the external auditor and the audit committee
- ad-hoc projects for the CFO
Job requirements
- higher degree in auditing and/or accounting
- minimum 7 years of relevant experience from auditing or similar position, managerial experience is an advantage
- strong accounting expertise and substantial experience in preparing group accounts
- significant expertise with IFRS and reporting for listed entities
- fluent in English both written and oral
